If you frequently use the Online Criminal History Request service, you may wish to consider an InforME subscription. As a subscriber, you will enjoy a number of benefits not available to non-subscribers. As a subscriber you can choose a billing option that fits the needs of you and/or your company.  The billing options available for being a subscriber are: 

Ø       Direct debit of your checking account, without a paper invoice;

Ø       Automatic monthly billing to your credit card ; or

Ø       Monthly invoicing and payment by check.

As a subscriber, you will be issued up to ten (10) usernames and passwords which can be used to access the Online Criminal History Request service, as well as all other InforME subscription services, such as motor vehicle records, corporate records, corporate filings, and Uniform Commercial Code searches and filings, all without entering credit card payment information for each transaction.

There is an annual subscription fee of $75.00.  Your account will be activated as soon as all of the necessary forms are signed and received by InforME.   If you choose to become a subscriber to InforME you may use your account to retrieve records, view your billing summary, and be one of the first to know of new eGovernment services as they are delivered to the State’s web portal.

NOTE: Maine State, County and Municipal government entities may be eligible to use the Online Criminal History Request service for non-Criminal Justice, non-licensing purposes free of charge.
