ATV & Snowmobile Registration

Welcome to the ATV & Snowmobile Registration Online Service

The Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife is pleased to offer an online registration application for ATVs and snowmobiles. The online process is easy and payment by credit card is quick and secure.  Once you complete this application, IF&W will need to process the registration. Please allow at least one week for processing. You will receive your official registration in the mail.

ATV and snowmobile registrations are valid from July 1st through June 30th of the following year.  ATV renewals submitted before May 1 will expire June 30th of the current year; renewals submitted after May 1 will expire June 30th of the following year.

Reminder:
Your information will be verified by IF&W before your new registration will be issued. As a result, this application will not print out a temporary registration at the end of this online process. Your permanent registration will be processed and mailed to you in approximately one week.

Who can use this service?

Maine residents renewing an ATV or snowmobile registration.  New registrations must be done through a registration agent or the IF&W main office in Augusta.

Non-residents may register ATVs and snowmobiles online.
