• FLAGS ACROSS GARDINER - A group of private citizens in Gardiner have worked in conjunction with the City of Gardiner and Gardiner Main Street to launch an initiative to purchase and install American Flags throughout Gardiner as a way of displaying support for our brave service men and women currently serving in the US military, and those who have served in the past. The group is soliciting funds from individuals and businesses in the community so that there is no impact to the tax base for this project. Each flag costs $50. Businesses and individuals are encouraged to donate one or more flags so that we can place up to 50 flags along our main arterial.   2011 Annual Report - the City of Gardiner has produced an annual city report. The report, dedicated to the late Mayor Brian Rines, provides an insight on departmental accomplishments throughout calendar year 2011 and also provides detailed financial information about the FY11 budget. You can purchase your own printed copy for $5.
