List Price: $0.00

Research for many species of wildlife relies on voluntary donations to the nongame and endangered species fund. Every dollar is essential, as these voluntary funds are used to double or triple the amount of funding with federal matching funds.

Since its inception over 30 years ago, the nongame and endangered species fund has helped projects directed at conserving a number of species , including bald eagles, peregrine falcons, piping plovers, great blue herons, Canada lynx, several species of bats, New England cottontail, Blandingís turtles and several rare freshwater mussels. Monies from the fund have also aided citizen science projects like the Maine Butterfly Survey and the Maine Amphibian and Reptile Atlasing Project.

Your tax-deductible voluntary contributions are the only source of state funding for Endangered / Threatened Species and other nongame wildlife in Maine. Research and conservation for many species in Maine depend on volunteer contributions to this fund, as well as proceeds from the Loon License Plate and the Sportsmanís License Plate.

Thank you.
